Centre expansion/development-Dhamma Jalgaon, India

In August 2015, Dhamma Jalgaon started offering 10-day courses. The center stands on a hilltop 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from the city of Jalgaon, in northern Maharashtra. It is easily reached from across the country by road and rail. Just 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the center is the site of the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring magnificent artwork created in the very early years after the time of the Buddha.

The center was established in 2012. For now, it can welcome 30 meditators at a time, and the schedule alternates between courses for men and courses for women. A planned expansion will raise the number of meditators to 50 and allow the center to accommodate men and women at the same time. Courses are held in Hindi and English, and in Hindi and Marathi.
