Centre expansion/development-Dhamma Laddha, Ladakh

In Ladakh, the northernmost part of India, Dhamma Laddha has held courses year-round since 2015. The men’s dormitory (numbered 1 in the photo) was built before 2013. Beside it, building 2 dates from 2015; it contains a kitchen and storerooms in the middle, flanked by men’s and women’s dining rooms. Building 3 is used for course registration and second-language discourses. Building 4 is the new women’s dormitory, constructed in 2016. Building 5 contains the meditation hall and teachers’ residences. Still to come in 2018 is building 6 near the center entrance; it will be an assembly hall used for outreach, one-day courses for children and adults, group sittings, and other needs.
