A years-long project is nearing completion to enable deaf people to join Vipassana courses. The project has involved subtitling the video discourses from a 10- day course, plus preparing a tablet computer for each participant with the meditation instructions in text form. So far, the team is working only with English-language materials, but it would be possible to do the same for other languages.
