We are happy to inform you that the Vipassana Research Institute (VRI) in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy – Mumbai University is inviting applications for the following online course.
Online Diploma in Buddhist Studies & Vipassana (Theory & Practice)
Eligibility for admissions to this course is Pass Certificate of Std. 12th or above.

- Admission Process
1. Update your profile by clicking on PROFILE UPDATE
2. Add your Education Details.
3. Upload Required documents as per eligibility.
4. Enroll for course of your choice & wait for the department to approve your admission.
5. Once your form is approved you will get a mail to pay the fee and confirm your admission.
The admissions committee will approve your admission subject to verification of all the required documents.
As the seats are limited, the admissions will be on the first come first served basis.

Steps to pay the fees - after approval in mail
- Click on this link https://parttimecourses.mu.ac.in/
- Log in with your User ID & Password (Created when you had filled the application form)
It will open the window of Notices in the portal. Then-
- Click on - Admission on Home page. It will show a table with the title ‘ Forms Filled’. There are 3 columns in this table ‘Admission for’ , ‘Form Status’ & ‘Form’. In this table the 2nd row is for Diploma. Besides Advanced Diploma in the Form status column you will get the word ‘approved’ and in the last column ‘Form’ you will get Pay Fee.
- Click on Pay Fees. Next appears Transaction Page. At the bottom click on Pay Fees.
Next appears Payment Mode-Net Banking Window. NSDL - Sure Pay - this page
- On the left hand side in a column way Select payment options are given. (Net banking, Debit Card, Wallet, UPI, Credit card). Choose Your bank on right hand side and make payment.
Kindly note as per taxation laws there will be Extra Transaction Fees [Incl. GST] ₹11.8
