About short courses
The Vipassana Research Institute (VRI)
publishes a national calendar of short courses, including 2-day and 3-day
programmes at Vipassana centres across India. These are short-course listings,
not the standard 10-day introductory course. The official calendar does not
provide a single uniform eligibility rule for every listing; applicants should
open the relevant centre schedule and check course type, eligibility, language
and registration instructions.
The dates below are transcribed from the
VRI 2027 Short Courses in India page. Dates and vacancies can change. The live
official schedule is the final authority.

Please note
·
The VRI calendar labels these
programmes as 2-Day or 3-Day courses; it does not call every short course a
workshop.
·
Do not assume that every short
course is open to new students. Check the individual course listing for
old-student requirements and eligibility.
·
The calendar may be updated
after publication. Confirm the latest dates and seat availability directly with
the centre.
·
The date ranges above follow
the VRI calendar format. Verify year-end dates carefully on the live schedule.
Please
support our work by sharing this schedule with people interested in Vipassana
meditation and short courses.
